Change your password

Forgot your password? Select Forgot password on the sign-in page to get a reset link.

1. Go to Account settings and open Security.
2. Enter your current password and choose a new one of at least 6 characters.

Turn on two-factor authentication

1. Go to Account settings, open Security and turn on two-factor authentication.
2. Confirm your password.
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app.
5. Save your 10 recovery codes somewhere safe. They're the only way back in if you lose your phone, and they're only shown once.

Sign-in methods

From Account settings you can connect your Google account to sign in faster. Keep at least two ways to sign in so you don't get locked out.
