Last updated: 13 October 2026
Your Credably score runs from 0 to 1000. You can see it on your dashboard along with your credit limit and what affects it.
Score bands
- Building (0–549): where every new customer starts — keep payments on time to build history.
- Fair (550–649): you've got some history — keep going to unlock better terms.
- Good (650–749): eligible for most installment plans at partner stores.
- Very Good (750–849): a strong history, with higher limits and longer plans.
- Credably (850–1000): the top band, earned through consistent repayments.
What affects your score
- Payment history (top weight): whether you've paid past installments on time. This is the biggest factor.
- Amounts owed (top weight): how much of your income already goes to other debts.
- Length of credit history (major): how long you've had credit.
- Credit mix and new credit (minor): the kinds of credit you have and how recently you applied, including how recently your identity was verified.
How to improve it
- Pay every installment on time.
- Pay down other loans where you can.
- Keep your identity verification up to date.
Checking your eligibility doesn't affect your score. Missed payments are recorded on your Credably score.
