Understand credit decisions
Why an application was approved or declined, and what you can change to help it pass.

Every installment runs a credit check on the customer. You can see each result, with the reason for any decline, on the Decisions page.
Common decline reasons
- The amount was above the customer's credit limit.
- The monthly payment was too high for the customer.
- The down payment was too low, or below the product's minimum.
- The deal was too risky at this down payment.
What you can try
- Increase the down payment.
- Choose a longer tenure to lower the monthly payment.
- Offer a lower-priced variant or product.
The credit check may ask the customer for more information, such as access to their bank statement. Ask them to complete it so the decision can finish.
